What’s a blog? <\/strong><\/span>This is a Blog!<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>It’s\u00a0a<\/span><\/span>\u00a0way to keep information flowing and a means of\u00a0connecting with key customers through, hopefully,<\/em> interesting articles and useful information on topics relevant to your business relationship with Bonza; Computer repairs, Websites, Google AdWords, or all three.<\/p>\n

Even though my\u00a0purpose is directed\u00a0at Bonza clients, through syndication and other promotional\u00a0activities, my posts get read and spread all around the internet, exposing Bonza to thousand of readers looking for answers to their questions and problems.<\/p>\n

Should You have a Blog?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>PROBABLY! If you have a conventional website you know you have to promote it\u00a0otherwise\u00a0it will\u00a0just sit\u00a0there. Getting your website noticed, and linked to, is\u00a0getting tougher every day and it’s so darned competitive. A blog, on the other hand, has the capacity to announce itself, and can keep doing that every time you update it.<\/p>\n

\n2. To help search engine rankings
\n3. To improve customer relations
\n4. To share knowledge & earn credibility
\n5. To\u00a0attract new clients\/make sales.<\/p>\n

Have you heard of Technorati<\/strong>? It’s a website that indexes blogs.

\n77% of Internet users read blogs according to Universal McCann

\nAround half of Bloggers are working on at least their second blog
\n68% have been blogging for two years or more
\n86% have been blogging for at least a year
\n70% of all respondents say that personal satisfaction is a way they measure the success of their blog
\n72% say they blog in order to share their expertise
\n61% say they blog in order to supplement their income
\n53% of professional Bloggers are interested in attracting new clients from blogging

Search engines love blogs!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Create tutorial posts on how to use your products, detail what goes on in the back-end of your service, give away samples of what your business has to offer. As you build up blog posts, your reach on the web will increase and your prominence in search engines will grow leading to free organic traffic to your website.<\/p>\n

BUT <\/strong>– you still have to work on promoting it.<\/strong> Nothing happens by magic.<\/p>\n
