According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gartner.com\/it\/page.jsp?id=1462813\" target=\"_blank\">Gartner<\/a> analysts, by 2013\u00a0tablets such as Apple&#8217;s iPad will have infiltrated 80 per cent of enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>There will be\u00a0a variety of new support requirements for\u00a0IT departments ranging from bare minimum\u00a0appliance-level support to network connectivity and helpdesk support.<\/p>\n<p>According to Gartner analysts, the iPad is not a notebook replacement for most users, but a <strong>valuable companion device<\/strong>.
