About Blogging

What’s a blog?  Should You have a Blog?
What’s the use of a Blog?

What’s a blog? This is a Blog! It’s a way to keep information flowing and a means of connecting with key customers through, hopefully, interesting articles and useful information on topics relevant to your business relationship with Bonza; Computer repairs, Websites, Google AdWords, or all three.

Even though my purpose is directed at Bonza clients, through syndication and other promotional activities, my posts get read and spread all around the internet, exposing Bonza to thousand of readers looking for answers to their questions and problems.

Should You have a Blog? PROBABLY! If you have a conventional website you know you have to promote it otherwise it will just sit there. Getting your website noticed, and linked to, is getting tougher every day and it’s so darned competitive. A blog, on the other hand, has the capacity to announce itself, and can keep doing that every time you update it.

What’s the use of a Blog?
1. To build your brand awareness
2. To help search engine rankings
3. To improve customer relations
4. To share knowledge & earn credibility
5. To attract new clients/make sales.

Note: A Blog WILL NOT substitute an integrated marketing strategy!

Have you heard of Technorati? It’s a website that indexes blogs.

Here are some interesting statistics courtesy of Technorati.

Search engines love blogs!

Create tutorial posts on how to use your products, detail what goes on in the back-end of your service, give away samples of what your business has to offer. As you build up blog posts, your reach on the web will increase and your prominence in search engines will grow leading to free organic traffic to your website.

BUT you still have to work on promoting it. Nothing happens by magic.

Let me know if you want to get blogging!
