Who Uses Facebook?
Published December 1st, 2010 by Roslyn Garavaglia

Businesses, that’s who. If you’re still clinging to the notion that Facebook is a personal space for friends and family, it’s time to change. A few Bonza clients have been working on their Facebook accounts and the results are impressive.

If you do it right, you can attract people to constantly come back to your Fan/Tag Page by continually updating the page with USEFUL content.

Like all things online, making a good page and keeping it interesting and engaging does not magically happen.

You are not Kevin Costner and this is not The Field of Dreams.

You know, “if we build it, they will come?”

It takes time, patience, and consistency to make anything  work.

Statisics show Facebook works really well for certain industries:

Car Sales, Real Estate, Travel and Gifts.

Bonzawebsite client, All Choice Motor Vehicles says Facebook is rocking along bringing in hot prospects to their car yard and good participation in their promotional drives.

Bagaholics sells hand bags online with a Bonza e-commerce website, online advertising with Google AdWords and email marketing. Their Analytics reports indicate Facebook is a major source of buyers.

I know, information overload, the Web and new media, 24/7 communication and connectivity invite over-complication in business.

Social Media is a “digital” word-of-mouth marketing platform and we all know WOM is probably the most effective marketing strategy.

Here are a couple of article/resources for you if you want to get started.
