Yes. A firewall will not protect you from viruses and/or other malware (malicious software).
A firewall limits access from outside your network by blocking or restricting ports. It is a part of a computer system or network that is designed to block unauthorized access while permitting authorized communications.
An antivirus works inside your network and searches for viruses and removes any that are found.
If you wish to truly protect your computer from potential threats we suggest having at least one firewall and antivirus installed on your computer.
Contact Bonza via email to enquire about our preferred anti-virus and firewall program that takes up the lowest resources on your computer. The cost for the home or home office software is $92.50 for 1 license a year; each additional license gains a discount.
