The internet and mobiles are to blame and instant coffee and teabags! Instant communication, instant online wherever we are …..How many times have you been frustrated with a slow computer? Tapped your fingers waiting for a slow download? What’s wrong with taking a deep breath and relaxing looking out the window and dreaming for a minute? Waiting for the tea to brew and the coffee to perk…
We’re all addicted, because the people who provide us with speedy internet and telephony services are constantly developing and offering more, based on our demands.
Only 3 years ago, the iPhone 3G changed the mobile landscape by enabling touch screen control, intuitive web browsing, social networking, music, news and video downloads, and instant messaging. The uptake is still skyrocketing.
I admit mobiles have become true internet devices and work tools but in the wrong hands just ridiculous. I must be contactable at the footy, whilst shopping, at the theatre, while I’m driving the car, on the train, cooking a meal, on the toilet, otherwise the sky will fall down.
The iPhone 4 introduces faster upload speeds that are around twice as fast as iPhone 3. This makes it faster to do things like send emails, upload pictures to Facebook and to synchronise data. Only Telstra’s Next G™ network is engineered to support these improved upload speeds.
“Telstra 4G the Next G network to best ensure customers get the speeds, coverage and reliable access to online services.”
Did they say Telstra and service in the same sentence? Shhh, I’m not going to rant about that today.
Around the world the amount of time spent online is increasing exponentially, especially among cell phone users. A recent study by Strategy Analytics indicates a large portion of that increased online time is spent on social networking.
Getting faster….. How fast does it have to be to send an email? Can’t Facebook wait?
Take a breather everyone, no wonder you’re frazzled.
