“Network Cable Is Unplugged”
This error message appears as a Windows desktop balloon. If your connection is wired, you may lose access to the network. If your connection is wireless, your network will probably function normally but the message will appear persistently until the problem is addressed.
There are several reasons why the “Network Cable Is Unplugged” error is triggered and each has its unique fix;
Network cables don’t fall out very often, but you guessed it, see if it’s unplugged and check if there are any abnormalities such as, cuts, breaks or bends. Check the integrity of the cable terminations, or ends and make sure they’re securely attached, clean, and fit snugly into all devices. You might have to replace the cable.
Modem/Router has lost power. Try a reboot and then check the connection lights are correct.
Network Adapters allow computers to communicate over a computer network. It may be time to update it or download and install the latest drivers for your network card.
If you can’t resolve it, you need a Bonza Tech!
